What Is The Message Of The Gospel Of Christ?

In every man there is the disturbing sensation of a lack: he continually seeks something important, which he "should possess", but which he can never reach. Often he happens to observe someone who seems to have obtained an enviable social position, or individuals who have climbed "the heights of success", and in these moments he thinks he is the only one to feel that "sense of emptiness" that sometimes materializes in torment and anguish. He is therefore under the illusion that by conquering those goals the problem will find an immediate solution. But alas! Once he reaches that goal, perhaps after grueling sacrifices, he is disappointed and realizes that there must be something more ... something inexplicably superior ... and we start all over again.

This condition is common to all men: everyone would like a better world, more tranquility and more peace. In fact, we can affirm that this has been the case in all ages. The human consortium, despite having achieved a considerable degree of sophistication, full political freedom, a high standard of living, an advanced technological level, continues to feel an unbridgeable inner void, to which is added the "concern" of a dark future and stormy. Today's society seems to be guided by a hedonistic morality, life is reduced to purely material terms, and its only purpose becomes the inordinate pursuit of pleasure. All this only exacerbates and exasperates man's dissatisfaction. And so the philosophy that prevails in the world is: "let's eat and drink because tomorrow ...

A sage affirmed that the heart of man was created with a particular shape: that of God, and therefore only God can fill the emptiness of the heart. Sin, sadness and death represent the past, present and future of man. But is this all life?

God's Word, the Bible, is the only key that penetrates into the meaning of life, and shows man how to solve his existential, ethical, moral and spiritual problems. Above all it indicates the solution to the real problem of man: sin. Some believe the Bible to be a historical book, others a moral book, still others an outdated book; we want to tell you that this book contains God's wonderful plan for man's salvation.
The theme of this wonderful book is JESUS CHRIST: He appears from the first verse of Genesis and is revealed through the pages of the Old Testament as the Messiah who is to come, presented in the Gospels as the Savior who came to seek and save the humanity, in the epistles of the New Testament as the Son of God crowned with glory on the right hand of the Father, in the Apocalypse as the one who returns to reign and judge the peoples. Do you want to know God? Know who he is? Where is it? Read God's Word and believe in it.

Some say: God? If He really exists why so much violence, wars, hatred, suffering, pain, death? Nations against other nations, racism, epidemics, corruption, broken families, abandoned children, selfishness? Why doesn't he do something? Why doesn't it stop this?

These are questions as old as the world, but also quite superficial and childish.
Is God the culprit? He who made the earth, who gave man life, intelligence, the ability to choose and want; that is, who created him in His image and likeness, giving him dominion over all creation, could he desire evil or remain indifferent to the tragedies of humanity? No, God cannot be accused except by madness and foolishness. It is the man who, being able to choose between good and evil, chose evil. He chose sin, that is, rebellion against God, to follow the lies of satan. You may ask: but is it right that we pay for the mistakes of our forefathers? The problem is that we haven't been able to do better. Adam, Eve were guilty, but we are as guilty as they are because we continued to sin, to reject the laws of God,

The Bible says, "All men have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God. There is not even a righteous one."   Our nature is that of Adam: we do not have to force ourselves to sin, we do it instinctively, as well as voluntarily. In other words, this means that man is a slave, that is, he is dominated by sin. It is the cause ; death, anguish, suffering, evil are the consequences . But above all, sin is separation from God. A separation that will become eternal and irremediable for every man who chooses to remain in this condition.

JESUS is the answer to this separation. He said, "I am the way, the truth, the life; no one comes to the Father except through me."

Jesus Christ came into the world one night two thousand years ago, being born in a humble stable in Bethlehem. He preached the Kingdom of God and toured the land of Israel doing good to all: he healed the paralytics, freed the possessed, gave sight to the blind, raised the dead, taught true love. Unjustly accused he was crucified as a criminal, but what appeared to be a defeat turned out to be the most extraordinary victory ever. Jesus, the Son of God, carried our sins upon himself, undergoing their condemnation in our place, on the cross; and overcame death, rising after three days and sitting at the right hand of the Father where even now he intercedes for those who believe in Him.

You can know Jesus personally in your life! Before you in every age of history and in every place of the earth millions of people have known him as a living person in their life, have been transformed by his grace and have found in him salvation, liberation, joy and eternal life. He is alive, and still repeats to you today as we read in the Gospels: "Come to me all you who are burdened and troubled, and I will give rest to your souls" (Matt. 11,28).

Jesus is alive, and he loves you!
He wishes to save you and have a personal relationship with you, because for you too Jesus shed His innocent blood on the cross.
